On December 16, St. Clair County deputies responded to a local medical clinic following a report of suspected child abuse. During the investigation, authorities determined the child’s sores were caused by MRSA and had reportedly gone untreated for more than a year.
A detective later sought arrest warrants, and on January 13, 2026, the St. Clair County Courthouse issued warrants charging Keisha Morgan and William Robinson with Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree – Physical Injury (no sexual contact) and Abuse or Neglect of a Child under Missouri statute 568.060.5(1). Robinson also faces an additional charge of Tampering with Evidence.
On January 14, both suspects were arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Jail. Each is currently being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
