Henry County Memory Fund was founded to help individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The fund was established to assist patients and caregivers by paying for items such as prescriptions, durable medical equipment, respite care, transportation, providing housing assistance as needed and more. The costs for the items or services are paid to the vendors only. At the end of the year, a donation of up to a 10% of the funds raised will be donated for research for Alzheimer’s and dementia to support the fight for a cure.
The 2026 Committee Members are: Christa Atchison, Jenny Bradley, Kathy Garnett, Amanda Long, Crystal Norris, Bretta Plumlee, Ranae Walrath and Steven Ward.
Our annual fundraising event, The Big Purple Party, will be Saturday May 2nd, 2026, at Hawthorn Bank in Old Country Club Park with registration at 9am and walk at 9:30am. The event will consist of the memory walk, contributor tables and a ceremony dedicated to those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
There are four different levels of contributions:
- Bronze is $250-$499. Your company name will go on the event t-shirts and HCMF social media.
- Silver is $500-$999. Your company name will go on the printed materials, event t-shirts and HCMF social media.
- Gold is $1,000-$1,999. Your name or company logo will go on our event registration brochure, event t-shirts, and the HCMF social media.
- Platinum is $2000 and above. Your name or company logo will go on our event registration brochure, event t-shirts, banner and HCMF social media. You will also have an opportunity to share “Why You Participate” on the HCMF social media.

It will take you to a new page to donate. If you would like to donate by writing a check, please make it payable to Henry County Memory Fund and mail it to PO Box 741, Clinton, MO 64735.
