Weekly Arrest and Incident Report
Dates: January 16, 2026 through January 22, 2026
Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:
- January 16, 2026 – Burglary 1st Degree, Property Damage, and Assault 2nd Degree:
Lieutenant Kubilus and Detective Baker conducted a follow-up investigation in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of William Moon, age 51, of Calhoun, for burglary in the 1st degree, property damage, and assault in the 2nd degree. The victim reported that a man, he later identified as William Moon, allegedly entered a residence and repeatedly struck him in the head. - January 16, 2026 – Warrant:
Sergeant Richardson conducted a traffic stop in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Eric Davidson, age 46, of Independence, on a Caldwell County warrant for traffic offenses. - January 17, 2026 – Failure to Register as a Sex Offender:
Deputy England and Deputy Chaney conducted a sex offender compliance check in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Adam Johnson, age 45, of Clinton, for failure to register as a sex offender. - January 19, 2026 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
Deputy Murphy conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Joseph Sanders, age 68, of Windsor, for driving while suspended/revoked. - January 20, 2026 – Warrant:
Deputy Saulters arrested Marlena Campbell, age 34, of Windsor, at the courthouse on a Henry County felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance. - January 20, 2026 – Warrant:
Deputy Saulters arrested John Wendleton, age 47, of Kansas City, at the courthouse on a Henry County no-bond felony warrant for resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony. - January 20, 2026 – Warrant:
Sergeant Richardson arrested James Moore, age 39, of Kansas City, at the courthouse on a Henry County no-bond felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
