The planned closure of the Missouri Route 2 bridge over East Tebo Creek west of Windsor has been postponed one week due to weather.
MoDOT now says contractor crews will begin work the week of March 30. Once construction starts, the bridge will be closed to all through traffic until late May while the existing structure is demolished and replaced with a new, wider bridge.
Drivers will still be able to access driveways on either side of the bridge but must follow the posted detour using Route 2, Henry County Route J, and Route 52. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
