
The Clinton Police Department reports numerous arrests in recent days involving a variety of charges ranging from alcohol-related offenses and theft to assault and traffic violations.
According to the department’s arrest report, Quintin Faught, 18, was arrested March 20 on suspicion of minor in possession of alcohol. Also on March 20, Grace Taylor, 19, was taken into custody on allegations of minor in possession of alcohol and driving while intoxicated.
On March 19, officers arrested James Pate, 58, on a reported warrant. The same day, Stanley Wade, 66, was cited for trespassing. Police also arrested Steven Caudill, 36, on suspicion of stealing, and in a separate earlier incident the same day on allegations of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia involving amphetamine or methamphetamine.
Authorities also report the March 18 arrest of Justyn Barrett, 31, on a reported warrant. On March 17, Richard Holstein, 50, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree arson, fourth-degree assault, and resisting or interfering with arrest. That same day, Alan Shepherd, 35, was taken into custody on allegations of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.
On March 16, James Stoneking, 31, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and first-degree sexual misconduct.
Additional arrests during the reporting period include Charlott Baldridge, 45, on charges including peace disturbance, trespassing, and failure to obey an officer; John Gust, 84, on suspicion of stealing; Herbert Cromley, 71, for driving while suspended or revoked; Steven Hull, 35, for failure to obey a traffic control device and driving while suspended or revoked; and Drew Bergwin, 34, on a reported warrant.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
