The Clinton Police Department is recognizing National Police Week and honoring the dedication and sacrifice of law enforcement officers who serve communities across the country.
In a statement released this week, the department expressed appreciation for all law enforcement officers, both past and present, for their continued commitment to protecting and serving their communities each day.
The department also took time to remember and honor officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Officials thanked not only police officers, but also dispatchers, support staff, and the families who stand behind them, saying their service and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.
The Clinton Police Department is encouraging community members to join in showing appreciation this week for the men and women who wear the badge and work to help keep the community safe during National Police Week.
