The Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to attend its annual Legislative Luncheon on Tuesday, June 16th, at the Elks Lodge Banquet Room on the north side of the Downtown Clinton Square.
The event is being hosted by the Clinton Chamber and the Chamber Ambassadors Committee and will feature updates and discussion from local and state leaders on a variety of topics impacting the region.
Scheduled speakers include Clinton Mayor Carla Moberly, Henry County Presiding Commissioner Jim Stone, State Representative Jim Kalberloh, State Senator Sandy Crawford, and a spokesperson for U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt. Attendees will also hear from Clinton’s new economic development team.
Organizers say there may also be time for a short question-and-answer session and opportunities for attendees to speak individually with presenters following the program.
Lunch will include soup and sandwiches, dessert, and drinks. The program is scheduled to begin around 11:45 a.m., although the luncheon itself will run from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members. Seating is limited, and the event is open to the public.
Reservations can be made by contacting the Clinton Chamber of Commerce at 660-885-8166 or by emailing joyce@clintonmo.com.
