Henry County Library
The Henry County Library has been in official operation since 1946, although the very first library in Clinton opened in 1927. The current Clinton location opened in 1994, on 123 E Green Street (660-885-2612). You can also find a Henry County Library presence in Windsor, MO. The Lenora Blackmore branch is located at 105 W Benton Street (660-647-2298).
The library offers many materials that can be checked out to an issued library card holder. The wide variety includes, but is not limited to, fiction and non-fiction books (children and adult), picture books, audio books, graphic novels, DVDs, internet hotspots, newspapers, magazines, cake pans, and jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to this abundance of materials, the library is also home to a long list of resources available to the public, such as free WIFI, copy and fax machines, lamination, test proctoring, genealogical materials, dial-a-story (660-885-4400), study rooms, reading programs, and even passports.
When you visit the library online at henrycolib.org, you’ll find the online catalog, where you can renew and reserve your items. You can also explore the EBSCOhost Research Database, Heritage Quest, Learning Express Library 3.0, and a variety of eBooks and eAudio books.
