We are going to continue a warm stretch of weather this week but the latest data is showing that West Central Missouri’s weather will begin to wake up towards the end of the week and provide showers/thunderstorms in our area. There are a couple of indicators showing that a return of severe weather is also possible all the way through the weekend. There is a potent Low pressure system that will digging into the Midwest on Thursday night and depending on the exact placement, could be a focus of severe storms with all modes of severe weather associated with it. So let’s stay weather aware this week and I will continue to monitor and update throughout the week. Here is a look at one model(GFS) as it shows several rounds of thunderstorms starting on Friday through the day on Tuesday. Remember, models show us what could happen, not what WILL happen.
