We received on average of around 1.5″ of rainfall here in West Central Missouri last night which was very welcomed. We will have a nice day today and Friday, with rain returning to the forecast on Saturday. We could see several rounds of showers/thunderstorms through Tuesday morning, increasing our total rainfall amounts drastically. The question on severe weather is still up in the air, as the atmosphere has been really worked over with the storms from Wednesday night. I will be updating with any new information throughout the rest of the week through the weekend. Take a look at some data from a couple of models showing and additional 3-6″ or more of rainfall in WCMO through Tuesday. That ought to fill up some duck ponds!
