Good morning everyone! I wanted to take a moment and look ahead at our next possible storm system to affect us here in West Central Mo. This will likely be around next Tues/Wed December 10th/11th. If you recall, we have discussed this system based on the LRC several weeks ago. The LRC also suggest a system coming in around the 17th, but we will talk more on that one later. Take a look at picture below;
You can see a deep trough digging into northern Texas. Where you see the darker shaded circle is an area of snow that will be wrapping around the backside of this Low. Currently, the track of snow is clipping the southern part of WCMO and into SW and Central Missouri. BUT, this has shifted back and forth the last couple days. In the South East USA, they may be dealing with some severe weather as well! This is the system I am paying close attention to as we head into next week. We will have a chance to see some showers on Sunday/Monday but this weak system could have potential to cause some havoc in our next of the woods next week. Have a great day everyone!!! Subby
