The deep South has history being made today! Lake Charles, Louisiana issued their first Blizzard Warning out of their NWS office last night. Incredible. They are expecting 4″to 6″ of snowfall, freezing rain and over 35 mph winds all day today! The crazy thing about this area including Texas and Louisiana is the fact that they have ZERO snow plows! There is no way to get snow off the roads, air strips and parking lots! Their warning advice is “we must wait it out until substantial warming occurs and the snow can melt”. Multiple Winter Storm Warnings, Blizzard Warnings and Extreme Cold warnings are ongoing in TX, LA, AL, MS, FL, GA. 2025 is shaping up to be a doozie! Subby
