Everyone is asking “Subby, are we done with winter??” The short answer is no. Even though we are in meteorological spring, we are in the realm of ole’ man winter. Fortunately, the days are definitely numbered. The LRC points to only one more chance this season to see a winter weather/storm. Take a look at my “Subby Stats” for March storm systems below;
Where you see the circles, I have highlighted the times I am paying strict attention to for storm systems. A small system for Tuesday/Wednesday that will likely stay south of WCMO. Another larger system for this weekend that will clip our area. Then a large system coming in towards middle of next week. And finally a strong system coming in to end the month with. Next, let’s take a look at Subby Stats for low temperatures for WCMO;
Notice at the end of the month in conjunction with the storm system, we see it pull in some colder air with lows in the 20s. Now, this doesn’t mean we will get snow, but it does solidifies the fact that we are not quite done with winter yet. I do think once we get past this at the end of the month, our thoughts of winter 2025 will likely be a distant memory. Have a great day everyone!
