A very strong earthquake hit Japan yesterday and now they are issuing a very dire warning:
Japan has issued a MAJOR MEGAQUAKE ADVISORY after a massive 7.5 earthquake rocked the nation’s north on Tuesday, shaking buildings, damaging roads, and injuring at least 34 people. Officials are sounding the alarm, warning that a future offshore megaquake could unleash a towering 98-FOOT TSUNAMI and potentially claim nearly 200,000 lives. This is one of the country’s most serious seismic alerts in years.

Although my expertise is studying the global weather patterns, I do find much interest in geological and astronomical rarities and events. We are currently in the the solar max of sunspot activity that peaked in 2024. The cycle length is around 11 years and it is the time that the sun’s magnetic poles flip. Here on Earth, that would be like the North and South poles swapping places every decade. This causes the sun to transition from being calm to an active and stormy state. A lot of research has shown that during these active times. Much evidence exist that shows the magnetic shift of the sun and the mass coronal ejections that is emitted from the sun can cause the seismic plates to shift, creating earthquakes and intensify the volcanic activity. There has been so many strong earthquakes around the globe over the last year and a half and I am concerned that we will see a record shattering quake somewhere around the world. Could this Megaquake in Japan they are warning about be it? Subby
